by Frédéric Luz, one of only a small number of
French heraldists, this unique space, which is entirely dedicated
to the science and art of the Blazon, will allow you to discover
a small treaty on heraldics and a service for the research, creation
and registration of family coats of arms (for, even if your family
is not noble, you are entitled to a coat of arms). You will also
discover a catalogue of prestigious heraldic products (French
quality for authentic arms on supports like signet rings, enluminated
parchment, and beautiful objects for daily use or for decoration,
bearing heraldic arms), heraldic reference works on CD-ROM and,
to crown it all, the completely free access to an armorial of
more than 15,000 armorial descriptions, of aristocratic, common
and artisanal families (this data base, obtained from the absolute
reference works like Rietstap's and d'Hozier's armorials, including
thousands of patronyms from France and Europe, will be an invaluable
resource for all who are interested in history and genealogy).
